A Practical Guide to Documenting and Designing Processes

The University of Leeds operates hundreds, if not thousands of processes. These processes span across academia, research and services. The range of business and process analysis tools and methodologies which you could employ to help you understand, evaluate or design a process is equally vast!

This practical guide has been developed to help colleagues across the University of Leeds to document, analyse and improve their local processes.  Whether you're just starting to think about how your work gets done or you're ready to map and refine your processes, this resource offers a simple, structured approach you can apply in your area.

You don't need to be an expert in process design.  This guide offers a light-touch approach, with enough structure to get started and flexibility to adapt to your context.
